I have to learn about studiOne's mixdown. With my old board I used to take the mix out and run it to another computer running a lynx II and record into cool edit pro. I also made these neat baffles that surround the mic when I have to both sing and engineer which with male vocals and harmony are always me. All my live recording is done only with earphones on me and the musician. Most of the vocals or live instruments are recorded with the singer/instrumentalist wrapped in the next room with blankets surrounding them making a pretty dead space or sometimes in my wives large closet. I use Event 20/20 bas speakers for the control room. I would love to be able to have it playback with HP using only an expression assignment instead of having to create a new MIDI channel just for Col Legno Strings.
